What we put in, and why

What's actually in a sachet

Three ingredients we chose on purpose, the amounts we chose, and what the research actually says about each one. The full ingredients list is in the tabs above.

  • 500mgLion's mane

    A 4:1 extract standardised to 30% polysaccharides. 

    The research

    The most cited human trial followed 30 adults with mild cognitive impairment over sixteen weeks and saw their test scores improve against placebo. The research is still going.

  • 3gGinkgo biloba leaf

    Each sachet carries 60mg of a 50:1 extract, which is the equivalent of 3g of ginkgo leaf. Fifty times concentrated rather than ground.

    The research

    One of the most studied botanicals there is. A 2014 meta-analysis pooled seven placebo-controlled trials covering more than 2,600 older adults and found ginkgo extract came out ahead of placebo on cognitive measures. The work is ongoing.

  • ZnZinc bisglycinate

    Bound to glycine rather than sold as the cheap oxide form.

Will it taste like mushrooms?

No. It tastes like a smooth coffee, with a little cocoa and vanilla behind it, and you can prepare the coffee to taste (with milk/sweetener/etc). We're known for our great tasting blends!

Does it have caffeine?

Yes, this product contains real coffee and 103mg of caffeine per serving.

How long before I notice anything?

We're not going to promise you a magic pill or snake oil. The research on these ingredients looks at consistent use over weeks so please give it a proper run before you decide :) The coffee and caffeine part will work instantly, though!
