If you’re on TikTok, you’ve probably seen the famous Honey Whipped Latte. Its fluffy, cloud-like texture and delicious, sweet taste… There's so much to love about it.
But what if we took the Honey Whipped Latte a step further, and turned it into a brain-boosting recipe? Our Focus blend- a coffee blend with Lion’s Mane, Ginkgo biloba, and zinc- is the perfect instant coffee to add to your honey whipped latte.
It goes from being healthy and delicious, to having that added nootropic benefit.
Note: If you don’t like sweet drinks, the honey whipped latte might not be for you.
Adaptogen Honey Whipped Latte
Ingredients:
-1 sachet Focus
- 2 tsp of honey
- Milk of choice (both plant-based and regular milk works with this recipe)
This recipe can be completed one of two ways. Either by first frothing the honey on its own, and then adding the coffee to it, or by frothing the honey and coffee together. I opted for the second option (it’s just a little quicker).
Start by tearing a sachet of Focus and mixing it with 2-3 tablespoons of hot water. This is just a rough measurement. The idea here is that you want to add enough water to fully immerse the coffee but not so much that it becomes too diluted. Stir it until fully dissolved.
Next, add 2 teaspoons (or 1 tablespoon for extra sweetness) of honey to the adaptogen coffee mixture.
Using a handheld frother, whisk it together until it becomes light and fluffy. This will give you that creamy, cloud-like consistency that makes the Honey Whipped Latte so irresistible. Note: You could also use a standard whisk or cake mixer, which will give you an even cloudier texture.
Add ice and milk to a glass, and top with your whipped up honey-coffee.
